LIFE programs are designed to meet the growing opportunity and demand for English instruction throughout Thailand while providing courses that will help students living in an urban global society. The goal of LIFE is to broaden our scope of influence into the wider community by providing:
- English instruction for children and
adults
- English instruction for business and community
- English instructors for public schools
- Tutors/coaches for individual
instruction
- Mobile library to reach underserved communities
There are several volunteer programs available through LIFE:
1.
INTERN
PROGRAM
Internship of varying lengths of service to be agreed upon in advance – minimum 2 weeks. While all of our internships
are unpaid, overseas experience will greatly enhance your resume. Accommodations can be arranged at reasonable cost to applicant upon request with local university/college facility or host family.
2.
RETIREE
PROGRAM
Join us at LIFE as a full or part-time volunteer and teach or assist our staff in teaching English; it is an opportunity to share your skills and interests with those
in need. There is no age limit or discrimination for our volunteers; we value
your wisdom, experience and knowledge and offer the satisfaction of a job
well done. Longer stays require proper
Visa/Work Permit which can be obtained through our sister organization, Cornerstone Foundation.
