Lamphun Class Ends

On September 20th, LIFE team participated in its final class in Lamphun with great sadness but with much happiness that we had made such wonderful new friends and had helped them to gain confidence about using English.  Since July, this class has met 3 times a week to practice English skills and conversational techniques which will help the students be better prepared for their career opportunities both now and in the future.  We will miss them tremendously and hope that we again have opportunity to share adventures together in the months to come.  But this night it was all about celebration and remembering not only all the hard work accomplished, but the good times we shared.  Thanks to all our students for their friendship, but most of all for their joyful enthusiasm which made our task so much easier and brighter.  And thank you for all our wonderful gifts; they will be treasured always.

This week the LIFE Team worked with a group of massage therapists in Mae Rim, a well-known resort town with tiger camps, elephant parks and scores of resorts offering a variety of therapeutic services.  This was a great group to work with from both a teaching viewpoint and a hands-on practical approach.  I think in the end both teachers and students alike were the beneficiaries.
